Zorgamazoo begins like this:
“Here is a story that’s stranger than strange.
Before we begin, you may want to arrange:
a blanket, a cushion, a comfortable seat,
and maybe some cocoa and something to eat…”
I wrote it as a read-aloud novel, which means reading an excerpt—silently, to yourself—simply won’t do. You have to listen to an excerpt, and nobody reads it better than the extraordinary Alan Cumming, who did the audiobook.
